
Evolution1997 – 2000:
Yashwanth Reddy (Bobby), the Founder of SRJ Group has extensive experience in the areas such as Marketing, Business Management, Strategy Planning, Advertising, Sales Promotion and Retail Marketing. He worked with Nissan Motors (Oman) as Marketing Analyst from 1997 – 2000.
At Nissan Motors, he was instrumental for analysis of competitors Data, planning and development of programs, sales promotions and advertising campaigns. He has managed the sales force by setting sales targets. He has extensively trained the sales force for apt product knowledge. He involved in preparing business, sales and marketing plans and accomplishing other important management duties.
2000 - 2002
Bobby has worked with Petro Canada, Montery Park, N.E, Calgary as Guest Service Representative. He learned the nitty-gritty of Gasoline retail business and management of Convenience Stores.
At Petro Canada, he has managed the shift and followed the activities according to the planogram. He has played key role was instrumental in arranging store based on the planogram and facing the front. He has managed up-sales of the carwash/ lottery/other services.
He has taken special care in getting stores maintained with clean, neat and tidy ambiance. He has handled vendor relation in adopting effective inventory management strategies. He has played responsible role in managing cash balancing and shift report paper work and all other duties instructed by the manager.
At Petro Canada, he has started career at entry level and rose to managerial position and learned end-to-end aspects of business management, retail marketing, sales promotion and stores management.
2002 - 2003
Bobby has worked with Petro Canada as Assistant Manager. As manager, he has executed duties such as hiring and training the employees. He has conducted in-depth Price Survey of the Fuel in comparison with the competitive brands. He has managed successfully, running the shift if the scheduled employee does not show up.
He took care of ensuring optimum stocks of all categories and maintained appropriate re-order levels. He has played key role in arranging the products according to the planograms of Petro Canada Company. He also managed Back Office Duties.
He has accomplished 100% in mystery shopping for 2 times while on the shift. He has helped Petro Canada for business growth of 25% in the 1st quarter of 2002 compared to with the 1st quarter of 2001.
2003 - 2008
Based on the track record of Mr. Yeshwanth, Shell Canada Products has offered him Retailing outlet at Drumheller, Alberta to manage it. As a Retailer he, managed the outlet by managing the stores, running the shifts and up selling the products / services for double Airmiles.
He has maintained the retail outlet with neat and tidy ambience according to the Shell Canada guidelines. He has maintained the entire inventory management activities and Backoffice paper work on daily basis using RADIANT software system. He has handled the reporting and green book (Fuel Inventory Record) on daily basis.
He has liasoned with banks everyday in depositing the collections and getting statements reconciled monthly.
He has accomplished 38% of growth in business compared with previous retailer in one year and 100% in Mystery Shopping consequently for 4 times. He has achieved "WOW" for outstanding customer service and retention of employees for longer period. He has established 100% in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) standards as per Shell Canada Products. He stood No.1 in Airmiles conversation ratio for 7 promotions out of 10 in the total territory.
2008 – 2009 (Present)
Bobby has been trained at Vulcan Petro Canada on all aspects of running an independent Petro Canada site, usage of bullock system and its capabilities, managing inventory management and ways and means of ordering fuel, and merchandising using Texlon machines.
He has been hiring and training the employees. He has conducted incisive price survey with competition for fuel to match the fuel price. He has been dealing with vendors and checking the outdated products everyday and keeping them aside. He has been extending the vendors with proper invoices and back office duties.
He has been managing the business reporting on regular basis and adopting motivational strategies for employees. He has also actively implementing the promotions of the Petro Canada on regular basis.
